Club Set To Announce New Primary Partner In Coming Weeks

Chelsea closing in on major sponsorship breakthrough

Club set to announce new primary partner in coming weeks

Deal worth in the region of £40m-a-year

Chelsea are now closing in on making a major sponsorship breakthrough after months of toil. The Blues have been without a primary shirt sponsor since Three UK ended their deal at the end of last season. And Chelsea have now all but confirmed their new owners with the club agreeing terms on its £4.25bn sale to a consortium led by Todd Boehly. Boehly and his consortium are expected to complete their takeover of Chelsea in the coming days. And one of their first tasks will be to secure a new primary sponsor for the club. Chelsea are understood to be in advanced talks with several potential partners. And a deal worth in the region of £40m-a-year could be announced in the coming weeks. The Blues are the only club in the Premier League without a primary sponsor after Nottingham Forest announced a deal with BOXT earlier this month. Chelsea have announced that Hilton will become the clubs official hotel partner. The deal will see Hilton provide accommodation for the Chelsea men's and women's teams, as well as the club's academy players. Chelsea and Three UK team up with former Poet Laureate to champion women's football Blue is the Colour. The campaign will see the launch of a new website and social media channels, as well as a series of events and activities aimed at inspiring and empowering women and girls. Investment firm Aethel Partners are the latest group to say they have bid for Chelsea before the Friday.
